As in all conflicts there are always two sides to the story and, depending on who’s side you are on the truth can be somewhat vague. One side makes a claim and the other side refutes that claim which only serves to escalate an already volatile situation. This makes it extremely hard for those people who are unfamiliar with the components that are at the root cause of the situation thus leading to erroneous views. It is of vital importance that, before we make a judgement, we have studied all the facts before we arrive at a conclusion. In this statement I will present the facts to you, it is your prerogative to examine and test these facts.
The events of October 7th 2023 that occurred in Israel when a faction of the terrorist Islamic Jihadi movement that identify themselves as “HAMAS”–the acronym for Harakat al-Muqawama al-Islamiya (Islamic Resistance Movement) invaded Israel and tortured, murdered and took captive men, women, children and even babies which caused a vigorous and thorough reprisal by the Israeli Defence Force (IDF). The Israeli government, under Bemjamin Netanyahu have a clear aim to destroy the threat of Hamas once and for all time. If you wish to know the aims and objectives of Hamas read the HAMAS Covenant… https://avalon.law.yale.edu/20th_century/hamas.asp.
Since that fateful day in October the international news agencies have been extensive in their coverage of this conflict, some obviously have their own agenda’s which becomes obvious over time. Here in the United Kingdom the BBC is constantly updating the situation in Gaza and reminding us of the increasing death toll that the citizens of Gaza are constantly facing each day which is intolerable by any civilised standards and I pray for shalom in Israel and Gaza may come about soon.
There have been many diplomatic attempts in the past concerning a satisfactory conclusion to the Arab and Israeli ongoing crisis, most do not even make it past the first post.
Setting the scene…
There is no doubt that this area of the middle east, Jerusalem in particular, can be classified as the most fought over pieces of land in the history of mankind. During its long history, Jerusalem has been attacked 52 times, captured and recaptured 44 times, besieged 23 times, and destroyed twice and the story is by no means over.
In the present day there are many claims and counterclaims concerning when most consider to be the Holy Land which, of course constitutes the country of Israel. There are many fabricated stories that accompany these claims and it is our job to dig for the truth because there can ever only be one truth in all things and this condensed information that I am presenting you is based on Biblical, Historical and well documented information that will help you to discern the right from the wrong for, at present most of the western countries have a warped idea of the situation.
Examining the Facts…
To arrive at an accurate understanding of the conflict in the Middle East we must understand that it is not a secular conflict such as the war between Russia and Ukraine which is based on political motives, it is a religious war between the ideology of Islam over Jews, Christians and all non-Abrahamic religions who are identified as infidels by Islam.
It is presumed that Islam finds its basis upon the Pentateuch (the first five books of the Hebrew writings known as the book to the law or Torah). These first five books were first recorded by Moshe (Moses) and inspired by the Almighty God YeHoVaH who spoke the universe into existence, they comprise of Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy.
The Hebrew scriptures comprising Torah (Instruction, or Law, also called the Pentateuch), Neviʾim (Prophets), and Ketuvim (Writings) which the word TaNaKh is derived.
An addendum was made to the TaNaKh which is known as the Brit ha’Dashah (new or renewed covenant) that was mentioned in the TaNaKh Jeremiah 31:31-33. The failure of the first (Mosaic) due to Israel’s unfaithfulness required a modification to the original as Elohim did not want a second failure of the marriage vows between Himself and His bride, the nation of the seed of Yaakov (Israel).
So, who are the ones that are Identified as God’s chosen people, a set-apart nation for special possession? We find the answer to this question in Exodus 19:3-6 where Elohim tells Moshe the identity and confirms the children of Israel (Jacob, Yaakov) as His chosen ones in the line with the seed of Abraham through his son Isaac. Genesis 17:20, 21.
It is common knowledge that Abraham’s first two sons were Ishmael who became father to the Ishmaelite nation that are identified as the Arab nations, and Yitzak (Isaac) to whom the Abrahamic covenant rested, it was Isaac that the Israelite nation was born.
These are divine irrefutable facts that no one in the universe has the authority to edit, they are the words of Almighty God YeHoVaH Himself.
The Involvement of Islam
To Islam the Qur’an is the most Holy book, Muslims believe that the Qur’an was verbally revealed from God to Muhammad through the angel Gabriel gradually over a period of approximately 23 years, beginning on 22 December 609 CE, when Muhammad was 40, and concluding in 632 CE, the year of his death. According to Hebrew history Moshe first recorded Genisis under the inspiration of Almighty God in 1312BCE thus predating the Glorious Qur’an by 1,944 years. When you examine the Qur’an, it is not difficult to identify some plagiarisms in the text which is understandable as Muhammad was well versed with Judaism and Christianity. With all due respect it is obvious that Muhammad looked upon the Hebrew scriptures and realised that the Ishmaelites in his understanding, didn’t have any sacred scriptures of their own and, although the Ishmaelites were cousins to the Israelites through their father Abraham Muhammad should have realised, through scripture, that and adopting the TaNaKh included them too but, perhaps out of jealousy of Genesis 17:20,21 Muhammad felt that it would be too “Jewish” for the Ishmaelites to worship Almighty God YeHoVaH in this way so Muhammad invented another religion for the Ishmaelites to submit themselves too, thus Islam (submission to the will of God) was born. The adherents to Islam are identified as Muslim (one who submits).
When we examine the beginnings of Islam, we soon find that there is another more recent religion that was founded in an almost identical way and, although they are worlds apart in theology Mormonism had the same beginnings. Joseph Smith, the founder of the Mormon religion now identified as LDS (Latter Day Saints), had a seemingly identical visitation of a supernatural being under the name of “Moroni” and, like “Gabriel” revealed the Qur’an to Muhammad “Moroni” revealed to Smith God’s purpose and intentions, presenting him with golden tablets that supposedly contained God’s revelation to mankind. Smith memorised the contents of these tablets and buried them in a secret location after he had recorded the details that only Smith was privy to. You have to admit that this sounds familiar. This is only the outline of the occurrences in order to show a parallel between the two religions.
It is a fact that the three world religions that claim to originate from Abraham each have a growing number of divisions and sects. Judaism, Christianity and Islam all have sects and sub-sects which makes it even more difficult to understand what is going on but there is one thing that you can be sure of that applies to all three religions is interpretation. Judaism has its Mishna, Gamora and two Talmud’s. Each sect of Islam has its favourite Hadith and Christendom has a plethora of concordances depending on the denomination or sect. All these “commentaries on scripture” have one thing in common, they represent the thoughts of men and are as such prone to error.
There is only one true account of the thoughts and actions of the one who spoke the universe into existence, that is the TaNaKh as recorded by Moshe and the true prophets of the God of Abraham, any and all other documents should be considered false witness and an insult to the Supreme Majesty and Glory of the Almighty God that identified Himself to Moshe at Exodus 3:15 as YeHoVaH.
All people are free to chose their own religion and no one has the authority to impose any religious beliefs onto others. The God of Abraham demands love and respect form His creation but He also gave us free will to chose for example, there are two families, the father of the first family is cruel and beats his wife and children to gain their respect, the other father gains the love and respect of his wife and children by his actions, which father do you think is truly loved by his family? Is there any reason why we should not believe that our Father in heaven is different to the second father in this example? Those that truly love the God of Abraham will want to keep His commandments because they know that He loved us first.
This is one of the reasons why I do not follow the religion of Islam, the God I follow instructs me to “…Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you that ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust”. Matthew 5:44,45. In contrast the Qur’an tells me to “Kill them [disbelievers of Islam] wherever you find them, and drive them out from where they drove you out, as Fitnah (to create disorder) is more severe than killing. However, do not fight them near Al-Masjid-ul-Harām (the Sacred Mosque in Makkah) unless they fight you there. However, if they fight you (there) you may kill them. Such is the reward of the disbelievers”. Sura 2:191.
There are many more “hate” verses in the Qur’an that tell Muslims to execute those of different faith but one is enough to condemn this religion in my view. Love never fails! (1Corinthians 13:8).
Land by Divine Decree…
Whichever way you look at it there is no argument for those who understand and truly love the God of Abraham. The creator of the universe owns everything in it and that means absolutely everything. He is above all, and all things are answerable to Him and Him alone and this we must always keep in mind.
If Muslims are in submission to the Almighty God of Abraham as Islam demands then they know that He promised the seed of Abraham in the covenant He made with Abraham concerning his son Isaac (Genesis 17:21). Isaac had two sons, Esau and Jacob, Esau was the firstborn but sold his birthright to Jacob for a bowl of stew, showing his disregard for the law of Almighty God. This gave Jacob the rights of the firstborn, when Jacob contended with an angel at the Jabbok River and prevailed Almighty God changed his name from Jacob to Israel, thus he became the son of Almighty God for only He can rename a person after they have been named by their paternal father. Israel formally Jacob) has 123 sons that became the tribe of Israel or, as they are referred to in the TaNaKh B’nai Israel (Hebrew: בני ישראל “Sons/Children of Israel”).
We all know the story of Joseph the son of Israel by Rachel who was sold into slavery by his other 10 brothers (Benjamin was too young to know what was happening at the time so he was not involved in the crime). The famine that Joseph had interpreted from Pharaoh’s dream spread throughout the land of Egypt (Mitsraim) and through the land of Canaan where the house of Israel were encamped. Joseph, as the steward of Pharaoh’s house had made provision for the 7 years of famine by storing up the produce from the 7 years of plenty so Egypt had a surplus of food that it sold to surrounding districts. This famine brought the whole house of Israel down to Egypt where Israel was reunited with Joseph, the son that he thought had been killed.
The Israelites resided in Egypt for just over 400 years and multiplied greatly until they became forced labour of a Pharaoh that did not know Israel and how Joseph saved Egypt from certain annihilation during the famine. The Israelites, along with people from many other nations including Egypt, were led out of Egypt by the hand of Almighty God by Moshe, their destination? The land promised to the Israelite nation by the covenant between Almighty God and Abraham.
The TaNaKh tells us the area and extent of the land at Genesis 15:18-21 On that day Adonai cut a covenant with Abram, saying, “I give this land to your seed, from the river of Egypt [the Nile] to the great river, the Euphrates River: the Kenite, the Kenizzites, the Kadmonites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Raphaites, the Amorites, the Canaanites, the Girgashites, and the Jebusites.” (see Fig.1). After their 40-year sojourn in the wilderness the Israelite nation crossed the Yarden (Jordan) and entered into the promised land that Elohim Himself had given to them in perpetuity. Elohim does not break covenants made with Him and that covenant divinely stands to this day and cannot be changed by mankind. The land that was given to Elohim’s chosen people Israel is theirs by divine decree.
It is true that Israel did not remain faithful to Elohim and they paid the price by being taken captive into the nations on more than one occasion, the last time by the Romans after the Bar Kokhba revolt but the land still belongs to Israel, even if the Israelites are forced into exile remember, there is no higher law than the law of Almighty God.
Return of Israel to the Promised Land…
Since the return of the Jewish and Hebrew people that were exiled in 135CE by the Roman army from the land that was known as Israel and Judea (formally Canaan) after the Bar Kokhba revolt.
In 135CE, after stamping out the province of Judea’s second insurrection, the Romans renamed Jerusalem “Aelia Capitolina” and the area of Israel and Judea became Syria Palaestina—that is, “Palestinian Syria.” The Romans did so resentfully, as a punishment, to obliterate the link between the Jews (in Hebrew, Y’hudim and in Latin Judaei) and the province (the Hebrew name of which was Y’hudah) and Judea.
“Palaestina” referred to the Philistines, arch enemies of the Hebrews, whose home base had been on the Mediterranean coast roughly where Gaza is today. Thus, the area of Palestine was born and the former indigenous people who had found their homes in the land since they crossed the Jordan river in the exodus from Egypt in around 1406BCE, were exiled into the diaspora throughout Europe and the world.
After the great exile the area became a barren wasteland with Jerusalem becoming home to many different factions mainly Christian and Muslim swapping hands in the “Holy Wars” during which time a slow trickle of Arab Beduine tribes started to occupy the land but it remained barren and unworked.
For more information concerning the identification of Palestine please read “The Forgotten History of the Term “Palestine” by Douglas J. Feith. (https://www.hudson.org/node/44363).
With the defeat of the Ottoman empire, who sided with Germany in 1918 and the area of the middle east which is identified as Syria Palestina (Palestine) fell under the control of the British government by the decree of the recently formed League of Nations (now identified as the “United Nations” under the auspices of a document entitled “a British mandate for Palestine” which included provisions for establishing a Jewish national homeland in Palestine—which went into effect in 1923. However, in order to reward those Arab nations that fought alongside the British in the middle east the British government granted land rights in the area known as Palestine to the Arabs. But certain areas had been earmarked in 1923 for the Israelite nation to return to the land from which they were exiled by the romans. This is detailed in the “Balfour Declaration that was published in 1914 by the Earl of Balfour Arthur James Balfour in 2nd November 1917.
But it did not come to fruition until 1948 when the Israelites returned to their ancestral land and Israel once again took possession of the land that was theirs by divine right however, the land was occupied by Arabs that were allocated the land by the British previously. Although the land belonged to the Israelite nation by divine rite, they paid the Arab occupiers for every cubit of land and at exorbitant prices.
A War Unlike Any Other
In May 1948, less than a year after the Partition Plan for Palestine was introduced, Britain withdrew from Palestine and Israel declared itself an independent state, implying a willingness to implement the Partition Plan.
Almost immediately, neighbouring Arab armies moved in to prevent the establishment of the Israeli state. The 1948 Arab-Israeli War that ensued involved Israel and five Arab nations—Transjordan (now Jordan), Iraq, Syria, Egypt and Lebanon. By the war’s end in July 1949, Israel controlled more than two-thirds of the former British Mandate, while Jordan took control of the West Bank and Egypt took control of the Gaza Strip.
Why did the Arab nations take such devastating action? Were they after land like most conflicts in history? The answer is no, and when we know the truth, the answer becomes obvious. The conflict in the middle east is not based upon secular desires for land to conquer, it is a war between Islam and the true Abrahamic faiths of Judaism and Christianity. The Islamic ideology states that once an area of land has become subject to Islam it cannot be anything else other than Islamic ad infinitum. It is a war of Islamic Jihad and its principal supporter is Iran and the Muslim Brotherhood who have sworn a sacred oath to completely obliterate Israel and the Israeli Nation from the face of the earth, if that is not Genocide then I don’t know what is!
People of the western nations is that they think that they know everything and have the answers to all problems as they try to inflict their western culture on peoples that are culturally different to western understanding. There is much talk about a “TWO STATE SOLUTION”, this would be fine if it were two western nations that were in conflict as a compromise would surely be in reach but, to try and impose a Two State Solution onto the Israeli Arabs (now identified as Palestinians) is, quite frankly a non-starter as they have rejected offers of a Two State Solution each time it has been brought to the table and Israel have accepted the Two State Solution. The Two State Solution will never be accepted by the Israeli Arabs for the simple reason that they all support the genocide of Israel and its people. This is not a simple war like we have known in history, this is a Jehad, a holy war that gives no quarter, no compromise and no compassion, it is a war unto the death of the last person.
Have you ever thought of why Egypt and Jordan do not open their borders to “Palestinian” refugees? The answer is in two parts. Part 1 is because they don’t want to welcome terrorists into their respective countries and part two, the “Palestinians” are jus a pawn in the Islamic expansion program, they are being used to maintain the thorn in the side of Israel, the only democratic state in the middle east.
Western Media and Secular Governments.
Since that dreadful day on October 7th 2023 most of the western governments have supported Israel and their right to fight back against terrorism and rightly so. When Hamas took political power in Gaza and butchered many “Palestinian” opposers to their Jihadi regime, they unleashed their pogrom of terror throughout Israel using suicide bombers on public transport and buildings killing and maiming hundreds of civilian’s and launching hundreds of rockets form mobile rocket launching sites in Gaza that targeted civilians in their hundreds, the unprovoked attack by the terrorist group Hamas (which incidentally means “Violence” in Hebrew), was the last straw and what we are seeing now is a justified payback to the horrendous attacks that have been unleashed against Israel and it’s people.
As I watch the BBC news I am totally and completely staggered by their total ignorance of the situation, I watch the BBC Parliamentary coverage and I am likewise overwhelmed by the ignorance of many of the MP’s that are calling for a ceasefire in Gaza! Are they out of their minds? What I find utterly offensive is that they always look to Israel to lay down their arms! Why should they? Are they not the victims?
Like all followers of Yeshua, I crave an end to the violence and killing of innocent people, irrespective of culture or religion (Matthew 5:44). In all the times I have watched debates on the calling for a ceasefire, never once have I heard the name “Hamas” mentioned, the primary focus has always been on Israel.
They all seem to avoid the obvious solution to this seemingly eternal conflict, it is not rocket science, it does not require groups of highly educated scholars to see the resolution to all this conflict…. If I, a nobody, can see the answer to the conflict why in the name of YeHoVaH can’t others see it?
The answer to end the conflict is… For the terrorist group Hamas, Hezbollah and all other Islamic Jihadi organisations to come out of hiding, lay down their weapons, release the hostages and tear up their genocidal pact against Israel and its people. If this happened the conflict would stop immediately. And the western powers should wake up to this truth. Calling for a ceasefire will only serve to prolong the conflict.
The True End.
We can be certain that the conflict will end and all those who have attacked Israel will receive judgement, and that judgement will come from the one who spoke the universe into existence, He is the true Almighty God, the God of the Hebrews, His name is not Allah or any other false god His name is YeHoVaH, the God of Abraham, Moshe and Yeshua.

Food for Thought
Jeremiah 31:33 But this shall be the covenant that I will cut with the house of Israel: After those days, declares YEHOVAH, I will put My Torah in their inward parts, and I will write it on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.
Jerimiah speaks of the Brit ha’Dashah (renewed covenant) here, telling us that in the days of this covenant He will “write His Torah on their (our) inward parts and on our hearts”. do you think that Almighty God will write a supposedly abolished Torah in such a manner?
The Divine Name

Read Right to Left:
Yod [Y] – Sh’ma [e] – Hey [H] – Cholam [o] – Vav [V] – Kamatz [a] – Hey [H].
The Name of Almighty God has been debated for many centuries and there are many translations of the tetragrammaton “YHVH”. I like to use the name “Yehovah” rather then the popular “Yahweh” as the name “Yehovah” contains seven Hebrew letters, the value of “7” derives much of its meaning from being tied directly to creation and symbolizes completeness and perfection (both physical and spiritual).
